Minister of Irrigation Chamal Rajapaksa, Minister of Mass Media Keheliya Rambukwella and Minister of Power Dullas Alahapperuma presided at the opening of the ANCL Mihintala Aloka Pooja at the sacred precincts of the Mihintala Maha Maluwa yesterday. The Mihintala - Lake House Aloka Pooja is being conducted for the 59th year in succession. This was held under the guidance of Chief Incumbent of Mihintala Rajamaha Viharaya Most Ven. Dr. Walawahengunawewe Dhammarathana Thera and in accordance with the current health guidelines. The event is sponsored by Dialog and held in collaboration with the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB). ANCL Chairman W. Dayaratne, PC and ANCL Board of Directors and staff members, Minister S.M.Chandrasena, Governor of North Central Province Maheepala Herath and State Minister Duminda Dissanayake were among those present.
